Objective: To create an identity for its new consulting armOur solution: For over 20 years, ISN has been providing companies in heavy industries such as oil extraction, mining, etc. with business intelligence to ensure workplace safety. Through its online platform, it creates a bridge between Hiring Companies, such as Chevron and DuPont, and contractors that provide critical services. For example, Chevron might hire contractors to assist with offshore oil extraction. When hiring these contractors, workplace safety is paramount. ISNetworld is a platform that provides contractors with a centralized repository for collecting and submitting their safety records, certifications, and more when bidding for jobs. Further, ISNetworld allows Hiring Clients to ensure that their contractors’ safety records, certification, and other documentation are all current. ISN’s management team wanted to build out a consulting arm that supports their existing services and offerings. Our task was to help with the most critical piece of the new entity’s identity - its name.Because we have worked with ISN for several years, we understood its offerings, values, and existing brand identity. Ultimately, we proposed a number of names, and the client selected “Monarch360,” which reflected its roots in Texas (the state butterfly is the monarch) and the idea that organizations can transform - much like a caterpillar transforms into a chrysalis and ultimately a butterfly.
